Senior Java Developer x 2

We are looking for 2 Java developer consultants.
You will be working as a java specialist in a cross-functional team of talented developers working together to build micro services. You love the idea of working with mission critical product with millions of end users and zero downtime.

Role 1:
The DAS (Development of Authentication services) team focuses on Login and Authentication customer journeys and is part of the experience called “Join and leave”. This experience owns user journeys for the player reaching the sites (all brands) including login, authentication, registration and leaving the sites. We are a cross functional team with frontend, backend and testers within the same team and so cooperating and working with all the competences and also helping each other as part of day to day work is a given.

Role 2:
Responsibilities as a backend developer in Sports betting experience include developing micro services that serve our frontend with sports data, integrating 3rd party components and providing API’s, to build up the entire sports betting experience. The data follows the customer’s path, from checking the odds, placing a bet, and cashing out. We are a cross-functional team, so working closely with, for example, frontend and native developers and UX is a natural part of the work. A developer in our team participates in all aspects of the work, from initial planning and setting up component architecture to maintaining our components and handling issues.

What you will do:
You will participate in design discussions with your colleagues to find great solutions to complex engineering challenges. You discuss with architects on upcoming projects and propose solutions as needed.

Your experience:

• As an experienced java developer, you can lead the team and drive technical solutions from design to production

• You build scalable software within a distributed architecture

• You think about what is good for the products in the long term when you make design decisions

• You help set the technical expectations on the whole team by both producing and setting high expectations on the team delivery

• You create solutions through clean and performant code

• You help mentor and onboard new team members

• You are a role model in behaviour (communication, collaboration – within and across teams) with a positive mindset

• You are proactive in communication towards all stakeholders including team

• You are experienced at solving challenging problems in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment

• You are passionate and experienced with back-end but are not hesitant to help with frontend development or testing if needed!
